IDEAS for using the DVD

The More to Life DVD is an ideal give-away ‘visual tract’. Christians will feel confident to give it away and will help those who receive it to consider the difference that Jesus is making in people’s lives.

Using the DVD is a simple yet effective way of involving your church in evangelism and makes it easier for people reticent to share their faith.

Key to the effectiveness of More to Life is three elements:

1. Christians are equipped to give away the DVD’s and follow up on conversations through training.
2. DVD’s are given to friends, neighbours, colleagues – anyone with whom the giver has something of a relationship. This provides an opportunity to be creative and starts involving Christians in non threatening faith sharing.
3. Opportunities are provided for people who receive the DVD to find out more about Jesus once they have seen it and expressed some interest.

The DVD contains reference to www.more-to-life.org which is a website dedicated to answering the key questions often asked by people seeking to know more. This site will continue to develop and provide a means of ‘follow through’ for those who as yet do not want to engage with the giver or their church.

However each DVD can be easily linked to your church by:

• printing or placing a sticker with details into space provided
• including a leaflet about the church and/or an invitation to relevant events.

If you use the DVD in a creative way that is effective please let us know so they can then be added to this IDEAS page and others can be learn from your experience.
