Training Sessions


Welcome to the More to Life Training Sessions Leaders Notes.

Each of these 6 training sessions can be downloaded and used by an experienced facilitator to help Christians become effective in sharing their faith with friends and neighbours. They are based around the use of the ‘More to Life DVD’ although the principles covered have a wider application.

Each session can be used ‘one to one’, in small groups or in a seminar or workshop context.

We have placed them in the sequence:

  1. Causing Heaven to Celebrate - Reaching the lost
  2. The Four Story Approach
  3. Reaching the Lost - Identifying who you can reach
  4. Stories to Tell - Telling your story, listening to theirs, sharing His Story
  5. A Message to Explain - Presenting the Gospel
  6. Power to Engage - Effective Prayer that equips

This is a suggestion. You are free to change the sequence and/or use some, not all, of the sessions.

Sessions can include:

  • Practical discussion and interaction
  • Stories from the More to Life DVD
  • Video clips (where available as downloads)
  • PowerPoint to aid presentation (available as downloads)
  • Activities and tasks to complete between sessions
