Training Sessions - Session 4

Stories to Tell

This session should last approximately 1 hours and 30 minutes.

In the previous session participants were helped to tell the FIRST STORY in the Four Story Approach to Evangelism. In this session they will be helped to: TELL MY STORY, HEAR THEIR STORY; and begin to TELL HIS STORY. It should be stressed that this may well happen over a period of time in relationship with the person concerned.

Aim of this session:

To help those who attend to:

  • Grasp the significance of telling faith stories to reach others.
  • Become confident in talking about their faith with others.
  • Be able to listen to others and relate aspects of their faith story that are relevant to the person that they are witnessing to.

  4. Data projector linked to a (laptop) computer and PA system
  5. Pens and paper for each person
  6. Bible
